Yes. Registration for a Standard account is free, and you can test send one SMS text for free.

Is there a cost to sign up?
Not for the Standard Account. For higher volume accounts there is a setup charge.

Is it ok to send a text message to someones phone?
Not without consent. When you use YOUSENDOUT, the person has consented to receive messages from your website, just like they would for an email newsletter. We have a strict NO SPAM policy so subscribers are respected, and can unsubscribe anytime. Remember, the recipient has REQUESTED to receive the messages, and has to CONFIRM the opt in with an activation code they receive via email.

Can I send as many messages as I want?
Yes, up to the limits set on each account. Your account will also need enough funds to cover the cost of sending to the subscibers on your list.

What is the average cost to send a message?
On average, the cost per message is 15-20 cents or (the larger the list the lower the price per message)

What does the signup form look like on my site?

The form is a simple 5 lines of HTML code you insert in your chosen web page, which looks like the screenshot above.

The price depends on how many subscribers you want to send to. You can fund your account at many levels from just $10

Are there any additional costs?
Normal text rates may apply, in accordance with the users phone plan. Please post on your site to have your subscribers check with their provider.

Can I send to numbers not on my opt in subscriber list?
No. Thats Spamming. If you send even just one message to anyone OUTSIDE of those who have requested to receive SMS from you, we WILL close your account, seize any credit balance, and if need be, take legal action against you.
